Unfortunately, due to extreme bark beetle infestation, almost the entire forest around the lake is either dead or has already been cleared. It's a shame, the lake looks great in the pictures, it used to be very nice there!

On the Arbersee Rundweg there is always a beautiful view over the lake and the Seehäusl.

Beautiful section on the south side of the small Arbersee, small rivulets can be seen on the rock walls and there is always a beautiful view over the lake.

A beautiful lake, a great walk from Špičák to Černé jezero, then in that direction and back (about 10 km). Swimming is not possible as it is part of the National Nature Reserve along with Black Lake.

The lake is beautifully embedded in a nature reserve and can be reached via several easily accessible hiking trails. There are a few places to rest in the immediate vicinity of the lake.
