The road surface is very good, but the adjacent bike path isn't particularly suitable for road bikes. It's moderately busy. Occasionally, you'll find motorcycles that forget how the road traffic regulations work.

Update. In the 90° bend before the bridge towards Wettensen and in the area of the southern access road there is a lot of gravel on the road.
