Lindau is a town on Lake Constance in the German state of Bavaria. It is known for its old town island. In the harbor are the statue of the Bavarian lion and the stone Lindau lighthouse overlooking the lake and mountains. The Mangturm from the 12th century, a former watchtower with a pointed tiled roof, stands on the lake promenade at the harbor. Near the restaurant-lined Maximilianstrasse is the Gothic old town hall with its painted façade. (Source: Google)
