I'm very interested in history and especially the Industrial Revolution. And this is where my heart really opened up. The hut is just amazing and I felt really comfortable here.

The Hotel-Restaurant Ginsberger Heide is located directly on the Rothaarsteig. There is a very nice outdoor terrace and the food is absolutely delicious.

We stayed at this hotel as part of our Rothaarsteig long-distance hike. Very friendly house on a farm with nice rooms and good gastronomy.

Always good for a great waffle. I know them from childhood! It used to be square - today it is round! 😀 Otherwise always good cuisine, nice service and for many hikers and mountain bikers a nice resting place on the Ginsberger Heide. Nice outdoor terrace available. Often well attended, therefore often very crowded.
