You have an amazing view and the climb is worth it 👍👍👍

At the summit of Homert you have a breathtaking view of the mountains and valleys of the Sauerland. The climb up the 656 meter high mountain is very worthwhile. When you reach the top, take a little time and enjoy the panorama and the clean air.

3 highlights were created here. They could have been combined into one. So the restaurant, tower and the Kaiserlinde are worthwhile.

When there is snow on the Homer Summit, it looks like a winter wonderland. I can only recommend it!

The Kindelsberg and its tower are always worth a trip. It can be particularly nicely combined with the 14 kilometer long Kindelsberg path.

The 700 meter long path to the Biggeblick starts directly across from the campsite or the parking lot in front of it and from there steeply uphill to the Biggeblick viewing platform, built in 2013 and 90 meters above the reservoir. In the Biggesee there is currently (October 2020) extremely low water level, so that in addition to the marina and the dam wall, a lot of banks can be seen on the edge of the lake. Nevertheless, the view of the lake, the dam and the surrounding forests is terrific. Directly next to the viewpoint is a small playground with a seesaw, nest swing and some other seesaw devices, so that a little time should be allowed for here with small children.

Great observation tower, unfortunately you could not look over the tallest trees.

Cute observation tower, which is also called "Eiffel Tower" (according to our hiking guide). Unfortunately now in summer the trees were so green that you couldn't look down to the county. Great resting place.
