In September 2021, after only about six months of construction, this larch wood footbridge was reopened. It spans the Mangfall River, which flows out of Lake Tegernsee here and heads north. A successful construction that now replaces the aging bridge. In April 2020, it was determined that its stability could no longer be guaranteed, and the footbridge was completely closed. Be sure to get off your bike and take in the scenery.
