This place is part of the Waldaubach legend trail, which runs around the village and shows the legends and myths of the area. This place has a sturdy weather shelter and a wonderful swing. Edit 10/24: There is now also an earth fridge with drinks here.

This forest swing invites you to linger. You can also use the rest to read a legend from the Westerwald. The forest behind is unfortunately - as is so often the case - heavily thinned.

We have stopped here many times after crossing the border. The food was always very good. It is advisable to make a reservation if you come as a group, as the hut is well attended, especially on weekends. In summer you can also sit outside nicely.
