A beautifully situated Vesperstube with a great view from the terrace, with milk, bibilis cheese, bread etc. made in-house... extremely tasty and at really reasonable prices. A stop is worthwhile in any case. The service was also very friendly, attentive and fast. Highly Recommended!

At the saddle (place between two mountains) is this cross and the hut that is open on Sundays. There is also a children's playground and a hiking car park. Seating available. Wonderfully fresh spring water gushes out of a fountain at the Kreuzsattelhütte. Unfortunately no view!

Beautiful observation tower with a great view. Good food at reasonable prices. The rooms for overnight stays are also completely reasonable in price. Everything is clean.

The Brandenkopf - King of the Middle Black Forest. The 32 m high observation tower has a fantastic view (admission € 0.60). There is also a television tower on the summit, but it cannot be visited. At the foot of the observation tower, the Black Forest Association maintains a hiking home (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays). It is also possible to drive to the summit by car, but this is not easy. Conclusion: a visit is definitely worth it

I also recommend the Westweg variant over the Brandenkopf. I can also recommend the overnight stay and the catering in the Brandenkopfhütte. Eat delicious, sleep well, great care. 💪🙋🏻♂️

Romantic and cozy wooden house on a hill at the edge of the forest. Great idea for enjoying some time together while traveling ;-)
