Very great and impressive place with the beautiful castle ruins. Here a small rest on the Danube is appropriate. There is also a drinks stand with vending machines on site.

If you are in the area, you should definitely pay a visit to the Wartstein ruins. You have a wonderful view of the Lautertal and, in good weather, a distant view of the mountains. However, the viewing platform on the ruins can only be reached via a spiral staircase that is attached to the outside of the wall. This is possibly not for someone who is not free from giddiness or who has problems with spiral staircases.
