The former Hofmark castle dates back to the 17th century, while the brewery and farm buildings date back to the first half of the 19th century. Today, the castle houses condominiums, the clubhouse of the Schloss Egmating golf course, and a castle restaurant.

It wouldn't be a bad idea if the speed drivers switched to the Nürburgring. It's a dangerous track for pedestrians!

What appears to be an unusual residential building is actually the Schloss Egmating Golf Club. Opposite is the Catholic parish office of St. John the Baptist and St. Michael.
