The three country stone is the border of two Benedictine monastery states of Kempten and Irsee with the Electoral Bavarian dominion of Mindelheim

Dreiländerstein - This stone was erected in 1791 by the Lordship of Irsee under Abbot Honorius Grieninger to replace an old boundary mark. The three-sided border mark is made of marbled, polished limestone. The coats of arms of the neighboring dominions are carved into it.

A dream this little place. This boundary stone stands on the border of the Bavarian districts Ostallgäu and Unterallgäu. The Dreiländerstein has a triangular shape; each of the three sides points to one of the neighboring countries. The initials and coats of arms of the respective sovereigns are shown in every corner: CFB-RHM to the northeast for the Electoral Palatinate Bavaria and imperial rule Mindelheim with coat of arms FSTK to the southeast for the prince monastery Kempten with its coat of arms RSTY to the east for the Reichsstift Irsee with its coat of arms
