The Silzer See is a lake dammed by the Klingbach. It is well used for going around. You meet joggers and walkers with and without dogs. Benches invite you to take a break.

An artificially created, very idyllic pond in the middle of the forest (on the road from Helmbach to Iggelbach), which was created by damming the Kohlbach in 1970. Source: https://badeseen.rlp-umwelt.de/servlet/is/1155/ This small forest swimming lake is fed by the cold and crystal clear water of the Kohlbach. Its outflow flows into the Helmbach at the dam (on the street side). There is a long wooden walkway with benches, a large lawn and a nice kiosk with a small selection of restaurants. - Dogs are not allowed to swim here!

The pond is beautifully located in the Klingbachtal in Klingenmünster, below Landeck Castle.
