Very nice cabin, in the middle of the forest on the Westweg. A very large bench and weather station are right next to it. Not far away is the Sausenburg ruins.

Barbecue area at the “Hexehüsli” with table furniture and barbecue area with grate. The barbecue area is part of the Schafberg Panorama Trail in Efringen-Kirchen. There are three information boards providing information about different grape varieties. The water reservoir with a viewing platform right next to it, as well as the hut, are now (as of October 2023) cordoned off due to frequent vandalism.
