If you get hungry between meals, there are two restaurants at the harbor. Or simply enjoy the view over the small harbor and the dike foreland, watching the ships entering and leaving the Elbe.

You should see this impressive piece of steel construction at least once and watch the many trains as they pass over the high bridge like on a toy train!

After the construction of the Kiel Canal, the new inland port on the canal replaced the "Old Port". However, it remained the home port for fishing boats for a long time.
