Good view over the valleys to Kolmbach and Winterkasten

Great little rest area with a wonderful valley view, view of Auerbach Castle and Melibokus

Near Neunkirchener Höhe on the crossing from Kolmbach to Winterkasten. Very nice high trail with panoramic views.

Wonderful view from the Melibokus (tower, when open), but also from the platform in front of it. Very nice hiking and MTB trails around the Melibokus, especially from the Balkhauser side. From the observation bench with a view of Balkhausen there are 3 different ascents to the Melibokus. One of them is extremely steep and stony - a challenge for eMTBers. I made it, but had to push in a few places.
