The highest point in the city of Recklinghausen is the toboggan hill on the Mollbeck, which is exactly 123.9 meters above sea level. The hill is located in the middle of Speckhorn's green nature and was filled in 1967. There are two "summit plateaus" with benches, but due to the dense vegetation, there is no visibility depending on the season. It certainly offers cyclists a little mountain training.

I'm standing in front of the hill, a mountain that looks like a slag heap, but it isn't. The hill was created in the 1960s as a dumping ground for excavated soil and for material from individual demolition projects in the city center. At 123 meters, the Rodelberg in Recklinghausen is the highest point in the city, a popular destination for cyclists and walkers.
