Great view of the waterfall. Magnificent and always worth a visit.

A magnificent waterfall at the end of an exciting cross-country tour. A certain amount of fitness and absolute surefootedness are absolutely essential. The waterfall and the opportunity to swim are a wonderful reward.

Be careful, the route isn't great. At point 4, between points 4 and 5, there's no longer a path and it's extremely steep, so avoid with children. It's extremely slippery! The return journey after the waterfall is all on the road. Take a path to the left that allows you to safely follow the road.

The Vecchio rises on the Monte d'Oro and is initially called Agnone. This river is best known for its Cascades des Anglais, which attract hundreds of tourists every day in high season. From the hamlet of Vizzavona onwards, the river is called Vecchio and you only meet very few people. Shortly after entering Canaglia, it joins the Manganello. Here the Vecchio valley becomes very lonely. On the right-hand side, far above the riverbed, the railway line winds its way along the hills, barely visible. You don't notice the busy T20, which lies behind the hills. You only see it when you get off at the Ponte Vecchio. High above us, it crosses the Vecchio valley on the new bridge. Later, the Vecchio flows into the Tavignano, which reaches the sea near Aléria.

The Ucelluline waterfall is a nugget of Upper Corsica to discover during a hike. Corsica is full of majestic waterfalls, but the hike through the Ucelluline waterfall is a complete experience: the historic village of Santa-Maria-Poggio, the Genoese bridge of Bucatoggio or the ruins of a typical village of the Isle of Beauty, this hike is rich in discoveries. Come and meet the traces of this jewel of the Costa Verde, hidden on the edge of the magnificent Corniche road and offering a breathtaking view of the Tyrrhenian Sea!

This path has been closed for three years because there have been too many accidents. Police check it in the afternoon. If you ignore it, you will be fined around €130 per person.
