The view from the Mühlenkopfschanze is something special. If you think about it, they drive underneath with two "boards on their shoes and jump off down there" That's not mine 😮

A really beautiful corner there at the Möhnesee. Lots of space for leisure activities, whether hiking, biking or water sports. Everyone can be happy there. And if not, there are enough restaurants and cafés around the lake. 😜😁

The gorge and bridge path in Winterberg leads for around 4.2 kilometers through the low mountain gorge of the "Helle". The circular path begins in the heart of Winterberg, right next to the spa park, and it is hard to believe that such a special natural jewel can be found so close to the city. The hike is entertaining, but leads downhill quite steeply in places, so sturdy shoes are advisable. In addition, the leafy paths can be very slippery, especially in autumn.

The Möhnesee is one of the oldest dams in Germany. The 1908-1913 quarry stone barrier wall is a monument and the main attraction of the Möhnesee. The dam wall is 650 meters long and 30 meters at its highest point. The southern half of the Möhnesee is completely surrounded by the Arnsberg Forest Nature Park. The varied and extensive forest area is ideal for relaxing walks and long hikes. The circular route around the lake is great, you should plan a tour during the week, it's just too crowded at the weekend.

A really great experience and almost in the middle of the city. You almost feel like you're in the primeval forest.

Definitely worth seeing. Great atmosphere at the World Cup, otherwise always worth a visit.
