The City Hall was built in 1650. Due to its destruction, it was demolished at the beginning of this century. The newly built town hall in the style of 18th century architecture was opened in 1908. From that year until today, it has been the seat of the Wejherowo authorities. Wejherowo belonged to the inheriting magnate families: the Radziwiłł family, the Sobieski family (including King Jan III Sobieski), and the Przednowski counts. Then the estate passed into the hands of the English consul in Gdańsk, Aleksander Gibson, who sold it to the Kayserling family in 1790. The Wejherowo town hall was the seat of one of the city's first mayors: including: Jan Owiński and the distinguished Teodor Bolduan, who carried out many investments in the city. The base of the fountain was made of stone, and the figures were made of iron. It was unveiled in May 2019 during a ceremonial session of the Wejherowo City Council on the occasion of the 376th anniversary of the founding of Wejherowo and the 410th anniversary of the birth of Jakub Wejher - the founder of the city. Church of Our Lady of the Healing of the Sick in Soul and Body and St. Anny - built in the years 1648–1650 by Jakub Wejher, it is one of the oldest monuments of the city. Together with the Wejherowo Calvary and the image of Our Lady of Wejherowo crowned by Pope John Paul II, it forms the Passion-Marian Sanctuary in Wejherowo. Prior to 1308 the area was owned by Pomeranian Dukes. Since then it has been owned by and was the residence of the aristocratic families of Wejher, Radziwill, and the former residence of King of Poland John III Sobieski. In 1840, Gustav von Below then founded the castle, and was designed by Friedrich August Stüler. It was owned by the family until 1945, when communists conquered the land and it was turned into an agriculture school and then after two years of refurbishments, in 1994 it was turned into a hotel.
