The large Freilingen campsite is located at the Postweiher pond. Visitors will find a large lawn, swimming areas, and boat rentals. The water quality is excellent. Various hiking trails run along the Postweiher pond, including the 5- and 7-Weiher-Weg (5 and 7-Weiher-Weg) and the WesterwaldSteig (Westerwald Trail).

The Wied springs beneath the roots of a centuries-old beech tree. From there, you'll start and follow the Wied towards Dreifelden, where you can marvel at the oldest stone church in the Westerwald, the Trinity Church.
