Helsingør has a fantastic location: the sea on one side and forests on the other. Here you can enjoy wonderful walks through the forest just outside the city.

A forest path runs along the edge of the Teglstrup Hegn nature reserve, above the road, offering beautiful views of the sea. In summer, I recommend a detour to the beach.

The picturesque lake is especially popular in the summer months, not only for hikes, but also to relax and for camping. There are many options for different hikes, for example you can start at the Tømmerdalstorget parking lot.

This is one of the peaceful lakes in the nature reserve Teglstrup Hegn. You can come here to rest and enjoy. You must have a valid national fishing license to fish in Klaresø.

A very beautiful castle complex.

Close to Helsingør, on the northern shore of the Kobberdammen lake there is this beautiful picnic area where you can rest, relax and have a great time near the water.

Marienlyst Castle was originally a royal pleasure palace, which was first built in 1588, later rebuilt and also used as a seaside hotel. Below the castle there is a small baroque park, above there is a tree-lined garden with wonderful vantage points. The view extends all the way to the sea.
