In Bad Mitterndorf you will even encounter magical to bizarre figures - in the garden of the sculptor Ferdinand Böhme you can admire legendary figures such as "Mephisto" and "Lucifer". Most of these creative figures are carved out of stones and stimulate your imagination.

Ferdinand Böhme stands in the garden in front of his house in Bad Mitterndorf. The grimming rises above 2,300 meters into the sky, the Salzabach gently ripples nearby. Man-sized sculptures and rough stone blocks - Untersberger, Carrara, Sölker or Krastaler marble - they are standing under the trees in the garden, weighing tons. Powerful and radiant. Like Bohme. Stone is sculptor Böhme's material, rarely bronze or wood. Larger-than-life creatures are the result of his work. Until two years ago they were in the garden. Now they line the promenade in front of the house. Embedded in green natural niches, planted with rare local flora, "Judith and Holofernes", "Mephisto", "Alter Egon" or "Lucifer" shine in the Eike Böhme memorium sculpture park opened in 2014. "The park is a memory for my father." Eike Böhme wanted to spend his retirement on the neighboring property. In 2012, he died in an accident.
