Is now newly asphalted and super passable 👍

Hi folks, as of August 25th, 2022, the cycle path should be completely passable again in a few days. By the way, the closure is only for us cyclists: the old, sometimes narrow and bad path is widened and new asphalt is laid. So always be patient :-)

Since this marked part of the Enns cycle path is closed and we had to switch to the dangerous country road (just to drive through Irdning), it would be better not to follow the direction arrow, but to cycle the paved path in the direction of Enns and then to Trautenfels. The current situation is an impertinence.

At the Putterersee in the Ennstal there is a beautiful lido with a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains. You can choose between a nice place on the jetty, on the lawn or in the hammock. Irdning is a picturesque place at the foot of the mighty Grimmings and was first mentioned in 1140. The church of Saints Peter and Paul located there is documented in 1145. It is one of the oldest churches in the upper Ennstal. Most of the furnishings in the church date from the 17th and 18th centuries.
