I love this stretch, very winding, and covered in vegetation

very short but fun descent.

Fun trail that links the Isabela path, the Gasco dam and the Molino de la Hoz development.

They have cut off part of the route with a huge fence, specifically on the west side of the dam. There are signs saying "no entry", "private property", "private hunting ground"

We cross a small pine forest, where on the right we can see remains of one of the aqueducts built. The route is typical of a Mediterranean forest, including developed specimens of juniper and juniper, and the omnipresent holm oak. From almost the beginning of the path we will be able to distinguish the colossal hydraulic work on the horizon, which together with the mountains that enclose the Guadarrama River serves as a perfect frame for the peaks of La Maliciosa and Guarramillas to emerge in the background, the familiar image of the “Bola del Mundo”, the rocket-like television repeater installations.

Even very close to highly urbanized areas, the Guadarrama River continues to offer beautiful scenery and a pleasant walk.

This reservoir is merely ornamental. Even so, over time it has become a beautiful place where various specimens of aquatic birds have made their home.
