The long distance walk The Yorkshire Heritage Way goes through Saltaire and the World Heritage site at Fountains Abbey on its way from Bradford Cathedral to Ripon Cathedral. On a personal note my Dad taught art to a young David Hockney at Bradford Grammar School ( tbf my dad always said with talent like that it was more a matter of being encouraging and not getting in the way )

Great route back from Otley to Leeds

Saltaire is a world heritage site. Titus Salt built this village to house his mill workers. Its well worth a stop. The old mill is full of interesting things, books, art (Hockney gallery) history, cafes. https://saltairevillage.info/

Excellent bike shop both for selling and mechanical support

High up here at Pentley Hill, there are fantastic views to the west and north west across Silsden Moor and Skipton Moor, plus north to Langbar Moor. It's an ideal place to get great views without having to climb too high (by Yorkshire standards anyway). It is particularly special at sunset when the moors become silhouetted against the lowering sun.
