약 16미터 높이와 약간의 경사면을 가진 Kuhm 타워는 Borken 도시 성벽의 진정한 상징입니다. 독특한 모양은 멀리서도 눈에 띄며 그 뒤에 숨겨진 이야기에 대한 호기심을 불러일으킵니다. "Fünf Türme-Tour"(5개 타워 투어)의 일환으로 타워의 1층에서 Borken 예술가 Julia Schily-Koppers의 작품과 관련된 오디오 스테이션을 경험할 수 있습니다. 물가에 있는 타워의 변화무쌍하고 흥미롭게 연출된 이야기에 푹 빠져보세요!

남쪽 측면 신도의 동쪽 벽에는 14세기 전반기에 만들어진 소위 „보르케너 포르크 크루시픽스“가 걸려 있습니다. 1953년에 이 십자가는 큰 노력으로만 복원될 수 있었습니다. 이때 코퍼스 머리에서 양피지에 싸인 나무 유물을 발견했는데, 여기에는 „본디오 빌라도가 예수 그리스도의 발 아래 못으로 박은 나무 또는 들보에서“라는 비문이 새겨져 있었습니다.

정상에 도착하면 자신이 무엇을 했는지 알게 됩니다. 내려갈 때는 속도를 잘 붙일 수 있습니다.

🪨 The Roman Lake – Rest Stop on the Cursed Stones Trail The Roman Lake is located near the trail to the so-called "cursed stones" and is the perfect place to rest or spend the night. Those hiking or cycling the trail will find a peaceful spot amidst woods and fields to pitch their tent or simply take a break. The area is natural, with a level shoreline and a clear view of the sunset – ideal for a night in nature. From a cultural and historical perspective, the name "Roman Lake" is likely derived from ancient settlements and roads dating back to Roman times. Finds in the surrounding area suggest that Roman traders and troops once passed through here as they established trade routes across Westphalia. The lake may have served as a watering place on an old trade or military route – hence the name. The Roman Lake is of particular cultural and historical interest because it likely refers to ancient settlements and roads from Roman times. Today, the quiet surroundings hardly remind one of that time, but the combination of nature, history and mysticism makes the place a special stopover – especially if one is hiking in the footsteps of the cursed stones.

The former fire station now houses a bicycle shop. There's an ice cream shop in Reken.

Since August 2025, the cycle path has been fully usable from Heiden to Reken (and vice versa 😉).
