After this one, there are several more fire pits if you're coming from Challhöchi. After that, there isn't another one for quite some time. However, if you're starting in Arlesheim or Ettingen, this fire pit is in a great location. And the sunny spot with the fantastic view is simply amazing.

The Blauepass is a stunning pass that offers breathtaking views of the Bernese Alps, where peaks and unspoiled nature stretch as far as the eye can see. The area also has historical significance, as the Blauepass was once an important route for trade and travel across the Alps. On a clear day, you can even see Lake Thun in the distance.

From here you have a fantastic view of the border triangle at the Rhine knee near Basel. Be careful with children: there is no fall protection on the rock face.
