The Baroque town hall, built in 1752 with its bright yellow paint, is an architectural gem in Hilter. The Baroque architect Johann Conrad Schlaun, who was working on the monastery in Bad Iburg at the same time, likely contributed to its construction.

The museum garden is open all day, year-round. The local history museum's opening hours from April to the end of October are Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Today, it is not only the setting for many cultural events, but also a meeting place for couples who exchange vows here. The windmill was built in 1839 on Windmühlenstraße. For many years, it served local farmers as a reliable mill, but over the years, its exterior gradually deteriorated. In 1970, the municipality purchased this gem and restored it to its former glory. The Windmill Association uses the rooms for cultural events such as lectures and readings. The windmill has become known far beyond Glandorf's borders, particularly through its annual nativity scene exhibition and the "Mill Day" held in September. The Windmill Association occasionally offers homemade bread from the bakery. Tours are possible by appointment.
