The museum garden is open all day, year-round. The local history museum's opening hours from April to the end of October are Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The mill is somewhat hidden. But from the bridge you can see the large overshot water wheel, which is still in use. I always like mills where something is turning.

Its wings point the way from afar. The windmill is Glandorf's landmark and has a rich history. Today, it is not only the setting for many cultural events, but also a meeting place for couples who exchange vows here. The windmill was built in 1839 on Windmühlenstraße. For many years, it served local farmers as a reliable mill, but over the years, its exterior gradually deteriorated. In 1970, the municipality purchased this gem and restored it to its former glory. The Windmill Association uses the rooms for cultural events such as lectures and readings. The windmill has become known far beyond Glandorf's borders, particularly through its annual nativity scene exhibition and the "Mill Day" held in September. The Windmill Association occasionally offers homemade bread from the bakery. Tours are possible by appointment.

This is a really beautiful route with a good surface and great views. It goes downhill in gentle waves (depending on the direction).
