It is an important nature reserve located directly next to the "Hofgut Patershausen".

On a hike near the "Hofgut Patershausen" I occasionally discover previously unknown "works of art" by a great artist.

For about 15 years now, the approximately 140-year-old former "workers' house" at the Patershausen estate has been inhabited again. The building was lovingly and meticulously restored over several years, striving to be as true to its original state as possible – fantastic! It has since become a real eye-catcher.

The "Gratitude Bench" is located at the crossroads of Heusenstammer Schneise and Ostschneise. It is a good place to sit down for a short break.

The Wollwiesenteich is a fishing pond and was created for this purpose in 1972.

Around 1880, the "workers' house" was built at the Patershausen estate in Heusenstamm for the distiller and other employees of the tenant farmer. The Polish seasonal workers, employed there from March 1st to October 31st, lived in the attic of the long building to the left of the main gate. On a floor plan, it is referred to as a day laborer's house.

When it was built around 1880, the house was intended for farmworkers who worked on the Patershäuser farm and for seasonal workers. Since the 1970s, it had been a lost place and threatened with decay. After several years of renovation and reconstruction, it has been shining in new splendor since 2011 and is finally serving as a residential home again. A true gem.
