A quiet old narrow road with charm.

The city square is a good starting base to explore the historic city of Leeds. It is a fully paved and pedestrian-only area, and the official start point of the long-distance White Rose Way hiking trail. In the square you'll discover a number of restaurants, cafés, and shops, as well as a set of statues that pay homage to local legends. These statues feature QR codes that allow you to delve deeper into the history.

Well known and popular brewery in Tadcaster. You can take a tour or just marvel at the building from the outside.

There is a small free car park at Tadcaster just over the bridge by the bus station. If you go there early it’s a good starting place/end place for a variety of rides.

Cycle path through to pleasant quiet lane. Nice way to join up the reservoir to Wigton Lane.

Looked very slimy and slippery so we chickened out and took the foot bridge. Take care if you give it a go!

Short sharp climb. Touches around 17%. Steepest at bottom.

This route follows well marked Rights Of Way through the Harewood Estate. Some paths may be muddy after wet weather. The area is very popular so you should see other people during the route.
