Flying Eagle Preserve protects 10,000 acres of Central Florida outside of Inverness. The Withlacoochee River forms the eastern boundary and the Tsala Apopka Chain of Lakes make up much of the rest of the preserves border. With all this water around it's no wonder that this is a popular place for outdoor enthusiasts. Just be sure to bring your bug spray.
