The fountain was rebuilt in 2008. The fool's fountain in Neustadt in the Black Forest is located in a parking lot at the intersection of Hirschenbuckel and Kurbadstraße in the lower town. It was ceremoniously inaugurated in 1980 and features, among other things, the fool figure Gägs from the Neustadt fool's guild.
