The Friedberger Baggersee is an idyllic lake near Friedberg (Bavaria) with an area of around 18 hectares and a depth of up to 12 meters. It is a popular destination for swimming, water sports (including water skiing), diving, walks and relaxation. The water quality is excellent and a 2.3 km long circular path invites you to take walks.

The Kussmühle in Friedberg is a traditional restaurant that has been offering Greek cuisine under the name “Restaurant Limani in der Kussmühle” since the end of 2021. Previously, it was run for over 20 years by Angelika Indich and her family, who announced their departure in July 2021.

The Friedberger Baggersee, also simply called Friedberger See and rarely Kreisisee, is located north of the B300 between Augsburg-Hochzoll and Friedberg in the Aichach-Friedberg district. The “Friedberger Baggersee” is known beyond the borders of Friedberg for its water ski lift.
