The two-story, octagonal, pavilion-like tower is enclosed by a four-sided arcade. The lower level features a high window facade on each side and three stone arches, which open onto the two landward sides via wide steps. A spiral staircase decorated with a railing leads outside to the terrace and the upper floor. The sandstone building exhibits a neo-Gothic character, which is also reflected in the interior with its delicate star vaults.

Beautifully situated on the water. It's definitely worth taking a look at the complex from the outside.

The Nedlitzer Südbrücke was a steel structure and was handed over on March 30, 1904. At the end of the Second World War the bridge was destroyed. Soviet soldiers and men from Neu Fahrland built a replacement bridge 80 meters next to the old bridge. This consisted entirely of wood and rested on 150 piles. Nevertheless, it was able to withstand the heaviest loads. The construction of the new bridge, which was created using old bridge parts, took until the beginning of winter 1950.
