All the lakes are very beautiful. From Seedinsee to Dämererritzsee, then Flakesee, through the lock, and then to the crystal-clear Kslksee.

The path itself is wonderful, but its entrances (on both sides, actually, but on the Neu Zittau side it is worse) leave much to be desired.

A beautifully preserved village church with a small square around it. A good place to take a rest. There are seats available.

A beautiful sight at any time of day. In summer with numerous boats, in winter with birds and ducks. It is always worth taking a little detour to see the Dämmeritzsee.

The Dämeritzsee is located in the southeast of Berlin and is half in the Berlin city area and the other half in the state of Brandenburg. The city border runs almost exactly from south-southwest to north-northeast through the water. The Berlin-Rahnsdorf locality of Hessenwinkel (Treptow-Köpenick district) borders the lake to the north and west, while the town of Erkner (Oder-Spree district) borders the lake to the east and south. The new cycle path has long since ceased to exist. Roots and unkempt edges make it unattractive. Typical Brandenburg. I now take the new bridge over the Oder-Spree canal and cycle via Gosen towards the Spree floodplains.
