The single-nave, Protestant village church of Satzkorn was first built in the 13th century from field stone and rebuilt in 1669, where it was probably enlarged. It was rebuilt again in 1873 and 1908. The building is rectangular with an apse (semicircular end) in the east and a small, rectangular porch in the west in which there are four grave slabs from the 17th century. The church's wooden-clad, slate-roofed tower houses three bells. Inside, the village church has a carved altarpiece from 1670 and a wooden pulpit from 1671. The organ was built in 1872/73 by the master organ builder Gesell,

Directly in front of the church there is a nice bench with a table to rest. Too bad that the 2nd stage of the 66 lakes hike starts here, otherwise I would have taken a break there.
