The Außenmühlenteich in Hamburg-Harburg is a tranquil, elongated lake about one kilometer long, nestled within the verdant Harburg city park. Originally created in the 16th century by damming the Mühlenbach stream, it is now a popular local recreation area: walking paths right along the water, well-maintained parkland, a boathouse for short breaks, and even water sports opportunities in the summer. With its 25.9 hectares, it feels like the smaller version of the Outer Alster lake – less bustling, wonderfully relaxed, and surprisingly idyllic.

This is a good place to incorporate stair training.
