The castle cellar of Wangen Castle on the Aare River is located in the rear part of the building and can be rented for parties and events of all kinds. It accommodates approximately 50 people and can be expanded to include the adjacent castle courtyard. The venue is a visual delight that exudes charm. Ample parking is available right next to the castle cellar.

Park your car at Aarwangen Castle and take public transport to Solothurn. From there follow the Aareuferweg back to Aarwangen. An absolute pleasure hike. However, it is recommended not to take this tour on Sundays.

We parked outside of town and then walked along the AAre. A great path for walking or cycling. De Aare has a very special color there.

The tower can be climbed from April 1 to October 31 for 3 francs per adult. From the top, you have a magnificent view of the old town, the Aare River, and the surrounding villages, as well as, of course, the Weissenstein, Solothurn's local mountain.

In my opinion one of the best places to take a break. There are some banks with shade. Athletes, hikers and walkers romp about on the shore, but there is still room for everyone. On the left side of the bridge is a pub with a good range of everything you need to take a break. Best view !
