Over 100 years ago, when Carl Müller made our Rügenwalder tea sausage for the first time, our trademark, the red mill, was created. There were other butchers in Rügenwalde at the time. One of them, Carl Schiffmann, had a ship on his sausage to make it easier to distinguish it. "What should I put on mine?" Carl Müller asked his wife Alwine.
