Nice Italian restaurant with a large terrace serving delicious snacks and meals. They even allow bicycle parking 😉. The place next door doesn't seem to welcome cyclists 😢 A great place for a break before or after a hike in the Eifel Mountains.

Like many villages on the Erft, Iversheim was also badly hit by the flood disaster on July 14, 2021. The full extent of the flood is shown in a picture (see photo) in which the "Schmied" is standing in water up to its apron. In the background of the picture, a car is just being caught in the flood.

First of all, there is the factory farming. Impressively industrialized. Everything looks totally clean. And then there is renewable energy as a byproduct. The cycle path is great. With and against the wind :-).
