late wife and I rode this often. 33 miles round trip. slow to ojai, (uphill), watch speed on return (downhill). overall, great ride, excellent bike path.

The Ventura Pier is the oldest pier in California and is designated as Ventura Historic Landmark No. 20. The beach around the pier is Ventura's main city beach and is located close to downtown.

This beach is a great spot for surfing, swimming, and picnicking. It also ties in to the Omer Rains Bike Trail, giving you an easy, off-road means of running to other beaches in the nearby area.
