On this side, the bike path runs separately from the pedestrian path and somewhat away from the lake. It's quite uneven in places due to roots, but it's still a great bike path with views of the Kemnade Reservoir.

There is currently a short diversion on the Soringorum route, but it is designed to be cyclist-friendly.

The bridges along the canal are always a beautiful landmark.
