There is a lot of reed on this side of the shore... if it is not too high, you have a beautiful view over the entire length of Lake Eutin.

Magnificent views along the shore of the Great Eutin Lake... the lake is often surrounded by reeds.

The Sierhagen estate, originally the Wendish noble castle of Syra, or Zyra, is an estate in the municipality of Altenkrempe near Neustadt in Holstein in the Neustadt Bay. The first mention of Sierhagen (Syra) dates back to the 12th century.

St. Michael's Church in Eutin (Schleswig-Holstein) was built in the Romanesque style in the 12th century. From 1309 onward, it served as the seat of the Eutin Collegiate Chapter. Around the same time, it received a Gothic choir.
