From this parking lot you can follow various walking routes. We followed the yellow route of approximately 8 km. This route is not accessible for wheelchairs or strollers and also not for people with walking difficulties. At various places in the park you can barbecue at designated places. Also bring your own drinks! A great recommendation to go walking or cycling here.

In 2024, rangers from the national park will lead tours from this point to places where they will demonstrate slash-and-burn practices and explain the background. In summer, the bus 245A and 245KA also stop at the small Högbacka car park (Kattilantie 33, Vihti). Practical information boards at the car park show the hiking map of Nuuksio National Park and other information. The car park is an alternative for tours that lead to Haukkalampi (the car parks there are very full on nice days).

Two big parking places provide car parks for many cars at the end of the public accessible Haukalammentie. Information boards provide valuable information and maps of the area. Recycling bins for garbage, glass, metal help to secure a clean national park.
