Porvoo is a beautiful city with its red wooden riverside storehouses and pastel-coloured buildings, and it has Kokonniemi as a great urban green space. In the winter it is a ski resort, and in the warmer summer months it is a great hike, bike and run location. There are a number of trails to do that you can mix and match to do what you want. It is family friendly and very accessible to the city and the river.

At the foot of the Linnamäki Hills lies Maari Park, a popular place for walks and picnics among the residents of Porvoo.

It's a great place to stroll and admire the old wooden houses. There are many small, diverse shops.
