A boardwalk leads through the wetland to a birdwatching hide. Inside you'll find information panels about the different bird species, a bench, and a table.

You can find several benches and tables close to the Observation Deck. The path connects with Sonnerup Skov and further along to Arrenæs.

There are canoes to hire for a trip and they have good coffee. Nice for a stop.

Nice place for a break with the opportunity to look for the local beaver.

In 1756, a gunpowder factory was established in Frederiksværk. It was the beginning of 2oo years of industrial history that formed the basis of the city's development. Gunpowder magazine no. 2 is 185 m2 and dates from 1908. It is the only magazine still preserved. ///// In 1756, the powder mill was founded in the nearby Frederikswerk and ushered in a 200-year period of industrial history in this city. The 185 sqm. large storage in the forest of Auderød dates from 1908 and is the only existing storage.

The motor vessel Frederikke was originally used as a ferry in Copenhagen to transport naval and shipyard workers to the naval shipyard. After the shipyard closed, the ship came to Frederikswerk, where it serves as an excursion boat on Lake Arresø.
