Suspended between lake, vineyard and mountain, the medieval village of La Neuveville is one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland. In the old town, enjoy the beautiful colorful facades, the superb views of the cliffs and Lake Biel, and the small cobbled streets.

Located at 1609 meters, on one of the highest peaks of the Jura, the hotel's views of the plateau, the Alps and the Three Lakes are breathtaking. Sit on the terrace or in the dining room to refuel after a walk in the Chasseral Regional Park. The hotel is easily accessible by bus, car or on foot, along one of the magnificent hiking trails.

Our fourth checkpoint is located at the clubhouse of the Erlach Ski Club and is at 1,000 m above sea level near the municipality of Nods on the road to Chasseral.

Walperswil with Bühl lies on a moraine hill above the Grosses Moos. The beautiful silhouette of the village is characterized by the uniform farmhouses with their roof ridges running parallel to the hills. The neighboring communities are Aarberg, Bargen in the south, Hermrigen, Merzligen, Kappelen in the east, Epsach in the north and Täuffelen, Hagneck in the west. The ensemble with church, rectory and granary lies on the southern edge of the slope above the former vineyard. The church is a simple hall building, probably from the 15th century.
