The hut is unfortunately abandoned and the area is neglected, but there are several tables and benches at the back to sit and have a snack.

The entrance fee is 7 euros (5 euros if you are a member of the Hiking Association of Croatia/Slovenia/Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Mountain lodge Schlosser's dom is located on the saddle between the peaks of Veliki and southern Mali Risnjak, on Schlosser's meadow. It is named after Dr. Josip Schlosser Klekovski, the first president of HPD and the founder of Croatian botany. On the ground floor of the house there is a kitchen, a duty room, a bathroom and a spacious dining room, on the first floor there are rooms with beds and in the attic a shared dormitory. The home is the property of the Republic of Croatia, and it is managed by the Risnjak National Park Public Institution. UNFORTUNATELY IT DOESN'T WORK!

This is a meeting of several paths deep in the Risnjak National Park. A short hike to the north east are the mighty Veliki Risnjak and the Schlosser hut, while the path to the north west heads towards Snježnik and Guslica, fine peaks in their own right. The path to the west descends to the Platak ski area, while to the south is the car park at Vilje.
