A magnificent nature cinema with 20 box seats, a few meters west of/below the Zwercheck summit. Sensational views of the Arberkamm (the eight peaks over 1,000 meters high between Eck and Großer Arber), the Lamer Winkel, Hohenbogen, and the Großer and Kleiner Osser. A quiet place to take a breather, linger, and enjoy a snack. The panoramic panel provides information about the surrounding Bavarian Forest mountains.

The Zwercheck (Czech: Svaroh) is a 1,333-meter-high mountain in the Bohemian Forest (Künische Gebirge), a mountain ridge between Bavaria and Bohemia. The border between Bavaria in Germany and Bohemia in the Czech Republic runs along the ridge. On the broad, open, rounded summit are a meadow and a small rocky outcrop with a summit cross and good views across to the Großer Arber and the Kaitersberg, and down into the Lamer Winkel valley.

The Zwercheck High Trail runs along the German-Czech border, along the border ridge. The area is a capercaillie sanctuary, and it's best not to leave the trail. There are repeated, beautiful views of the Bavarian Forest mountains and the Bohemian Forest.

Beautiful summit with a wonderful view

Here is the summit cross of the "German" Zwercheck. The Svaroh is a little further away. Both together form a mountain ridge between Bavaria and Bohemia. The border between Bavaria in Germany and Bohemia in the Czech Republic runs along the ridge. On the wide, open, rounded summit there is a meadow and a small rocky ridge with a summit cross and a good view across to the Grosser Arber and the Kaitersberg and down to the Lamer Winkel.
